D.R.I. at the hi tone

First of all they were supposed to come four years ago but Spike got cancer again so we have been waiting on this show for four years. Never the less D.R.I. did not let us down. With a set list that could reach from the roof to the floor and they played damn near every song from the dealing with it lp there was so much chaos and fast beat riffs to melt a newborns face right off. I didnt catch the opening band and i didnt really enjoy the second band No Comply mostly because their ex member who calls himself "Angry Bob" was on the stage the whole time trying to look like a star. But we got a chance to talk to Spike in the parking lot and told him how stoked we were that they finally came and after the show they agreed they shouldve been here a hundred more times before. The fast pace show lasted til about two and we got to meet the bassist Harold in the parking lot who informed us that since it was a new day that it was his birthday so of course i had to get him to shotgun a beer with me to celebrate. Harold who has never shotgunned before but new the concept did it like a champ and actually finished the same time i did. This was one of the most anticipated and funnest shows ive ever been to.
